An Indian VISA extension request is accepted if your current VISA is still valid or the VISA period is not expired. For example, nationals from countries USA and Canada get a VISA validity of 10 years with a "visit" of 6 months.
Visa renewal is the process of extending or renewing an existing visa to legally stay in a country beyond the expiration date of the initial visa.
